A syllabus is a contract between the Teaching Faculty and the Students.
The syllabus – both in Hebrew and in English - provides students with information about the course’s educational objectives/learning outcomes, in addition to information according to additional criteria, such as teaching methods, assessment (tests, papers, etc.), reading requirements, and more.
The syllabus system used by The Hebrew University is adapted to suit to the European system for Quality assurance and to encourage academic mobility by adopting a unified, structured, and comparable system.
