Development of training, guidance, and consulting
In parallel to my role at the Center for Teaching and Learning, I teach science at teacher training colleges. Before becoming involved in academic teaching, for many years I conducted academic research: at the Central Virology Laboratory, Cancer Research Laboratory, and finally the Marine Ecology Laboratory at Bar Ilan University. In addition to my three degrees in biology and my post-doctoral research, I completed a diploma in instruction and guidance for teaching training at the Mofet Institute. Today, I am involved in research and offer workshops on a range of topics connected to academic teaching.
I believe that the way students learn in the 21st century has changed beyond recognition. In order for us to teach effectively, we must integrate elements that encourage active teaching and apply the most advanced learning technologies.
